Bavella:
One of the most grandiose landscapes of the south of the island. The towers of Mount Asinao, or Bavella's Needles, proud and straight like arrows, taunt with their height all those who stroll over their multiple reliefs, tinted with a gray or with a purple red colour, according to the time of the day, contrasting with the green colour of the Laricci pine forest which is the heart of the mountain chain. With its sharp mountain peaks, this place has become a paradise for climbing and hiking lovers.
The Ospedale forest:
The Ospedale forest is an ideal territory for a hike during your holidays in Corsica. This pine forest which is not far from Porto Vecchio is composed of beeches and Laricci pines. It offers many hiking trails, tree climbing activities, swimming activities in the pozzi and the waters of the artificial lake, canyoning in a waterfall of the Via Ferrata on rocky and steep walls, horse riding, mountain biking.
It is certainly quite different from a hike on the GR20 ( the Great Hike) but everything is possible in the Ospedale forest.
